(NASDAQ: VIAV), has completed the rollout of Jive's collaboration hub across its entire business ecosystem and was selected as a Jive Digital Transformation Award winners this week at JiveWorld17. Over the past year, Viavi successfully implemented a Jive Interactive Intranet for its employees, as well as a Jive-powered external community for partners. Just recently, Viavi expanded its use of Jive's collaboration hub offering to help improve customer loyalty and retention through advanced online service and support leveraging the Jive Customer Community solution. The company is bringing these three interconnected networks together with Jive so that key internal and external stakeholders can interact and collaborate effortlessly for greater business impact.

Viavi turned to Jive to revamp the limited capabilities of its previous customer portal by creating a dynamic online space where customers can browse the company's knowledgebase of support solutions, troubleshooting tips, product documentation and partner resources. The new community seamlessly integrates with the company's Salesforce system and helps customers connect with the Viavi support team and a network of peer experts through discussions, blogs, questions and answers.

Viavi boosts partner engagement through Velocity community
Viavi first adopted Jive to underpin a partner community as part of of the company's increased focus on channel sales. This online portal, called Velocity, provides self-service access to all of Viavi's latest sales, marketing and pricing information to help its 240 partners, resellers and distributors more easily grow their businesses. Viavi's partners now visit the community regularly to secure marketing development funds, collaborate on co-marketing assets, interact with Viavi employees and find product and solution collateral, sales tools, technical training and company news and announcements.

Viavi also implemented the Jive Interactive Intranet solution for its 3,000 employees last year, and it now houses over 9,000 documents, discussions, blog posts, status updates and videos, with adoption growing quarter over quarter. This internal community, dubbed ViaviCentral, replaced the company's static Microsoft SharePoint intranet with a vibrant collaboration hub for project management, communications, sales enablement, customer management, employee on-boarding, learning management and more.
